My Story

Naomi Ward is a CTI trained, ICF accredited coach and facilitator working with educators, from new entrants to the profession, middle leaders and leadership teams. She partners educators as they re-discover their strengths, values and purpose and what that means for their personal and professional autonomy. She supports schools as they choose to shift their performance management and professional dialogue towards a coaching model. She believes that by paying attention to what matters most to us as educators, we inhabit our full capacity and begin to have the impact we are longing to have, as individuals, and as organisations at the heart of our communities.
Naomi was a Secondary English Teacher then Faculty Leader in London secondary schools for 14 years before relocating to Hampshire. She founded Education Connected in 2015, offering powerful programmes of personal development coaching and training. In 2019 she founded Purposeful Educators, which offers learning programmes for educators who are dedicated to finding and living their purpose, then learning to become coaches in order to bring the best out in others.
Naomi has edited two books about wellbeing in the Education sector. She is a Coach for MTPTProject which supports educators while on parental leave, a Fellow at Leeds Beckett University and a volunteer mentor at The Kings Arms Youth Club.
