How can Organizational Relationships Systems benefit your organization?
We are human beings, not human doings. And often, because of the rush of day-to-day life we don’t have the time to stop and think about: how do I want to be in my relationship with others? How do I want to be in relationship to myself?
The concept of EQ (Emotional Intelligence) is multidimensional. Who I am within has an impact on how I am with others. When our emotions are high, only 30% of our cerebral cortex works. It is also noted that EQ counts for 58% of performance in a job which in turn has been proved to be the single biggest predictor of productivity and fulfillment in the workplace. In other words, ‘IQ gets you hired, EQ gets you fired’! (Source: Daniel Goleman). Skillful communicators know how to recover from toxic behaviours such as blame, criticism, gossip, contempt, defensiveness and stonewalling, and build stronger relationships.
Organizational Relationship Systems Coaching™ @ Work trains you HOW to be a skillful communicator.
ORSC™ is a methodology combining Emotional Intelligence (relationship with oneself), Social Intelligence (relationship with others) and Relationship Systems Intelligence (relationship and collective wisdom of the group, team or system), where you look at the system as a whole.
We are all important change agents for our world. Are we aware of how we show up to serve our community? What is our impact and unintended impact? Because, what I can impact is who I am.

💡 Reflection corner
Taking inspiration from author Don Miguel Ruiz and his book The Four Agreements, we invite you to reflect on what the agreements mean to you and how you can use them in your day-to-day life. The first three agreements are ‘Be Impeccable With Your Word’, ‘Don’t Take Anything Personally’, ‘Don’t Make Assumptions’, and here we explore the fourth agreement ‘Always Do Your Best’.
Always do your best.
There is just one more agreement but it is the one that allows the other three to become deeply ingrained. The fourth agreement is about the action of the first three: Always do your best. Under any circumstance, always do your best, no more and no less. But keep in mind that your best is never going to be the same from one moment to the next. When you wake up refreshed and energized in the morning, your best will be better than when you are tired at night. In your everyday moods your best can change from one moment to the next, and your best will also change over time. As you build the habit of the four agreements, your best will become better than it used to be.
If you try too hard to do more than your best, you will spend more energy than is needed and in the end your best will not be enough.
If you always do your best there is no way you can judge yourself.
When you do your best you learn to accept yourself.
If you take action because you have to, there is no way you are going to do your best. Then it is better not to do it. No, you do your best because doing your best all the time makes you so happy. Action is about living fully, not being afraid to take the risk of expressing who you are.
You don’t need the acceptance of others.
You were born with the right to be happy. You were born with the right to love, to enjoy and to share your love. You are alive, so take your life and enjoy it. We don’t need to know or prove anything – say no when you want to say no and yes when you want to say yes. You have the right to be you. You can only be you when you are doing your best and when you don’t do your best you are denying yourself the right to be you.
If you do your best in the search for personal freedom, you will discover that it is not about daydreaming or sitting for hours in meditation. You have to stand up and be a human. You have to honour the man or woman that you are. Respect your body, enjoy your body, love your body, feed, clean and heal your body. Exercise and do what makes your body feel good. Your own body is a manifestation of our existence, and if you honour your body, mind and spirit, everything will change for you.
Often this domestication (school, expectations, society conventions) has forced us to manifest our life in a direction of who we are not.
That is why it is essential to do our work and know who we truly are within.
And the more that we can own our truth the more we live a fulfilling and meaningful path.
Do not be concerned about the future; keep your attention on today, and stay in the present moment. Just live one day at a time. If you are impeccable with your word, if you don’t take things personally, if you don’t make assumptions, if you always do your best, then you are going to have a beautiful life.
